POSITION OVERVIEW
Regional flatbed truck drivers deliver steel buildings throughout 11 western states and are home every weekend.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Secure Loads
- Accurately Maintain Electronic Driver Logs
- Pre & Post Trip Safety Inspections
- Tarp Loads when Necessary
- Spot Trailers
- Assist at Rail Yard
- Complete Tasks as Directed by Your Supervisor
REQUIREMENTS
- Valid CDL
- Clean Driving Record
- Minimum 3 years Flatbed Experience
- Problem-Solving Skills
- Positive Attitude
- Excellent customer service skills
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
- Remarkable problem solving skills
- Reacts positively to changes
- Capable of researching solutions when situations arise
- Principles & methods for moving goods by road, rail & sea
- Basic geography of the Western United States
- Regulation for the trucking industry. State laws and regulations for same in western states.
- Operating and controlling equipment necessary for job function
- Perform routine maintenance on equipment
